A Senior Dog's New Beginning

June 9, 2014

In early Spring 2014, Uno's Happy Endings Rescue was called to assist a wonderful couple with a skinny senior pooch who wandered onto their porch one cold, bitter night. The homeless pup was tired, hungry and cold, but her spirit was as bright as ever. After a quick veterinary examination and a bowl of food, "Bella" settled right in with a nice bone and some much-deserved attention in her new home.

She has almost forgotten about her traumatic time last winter, and now Bella enjoys playing with her puppy-brother and humans. Bella's story is inspiring to all and we are happy to have helped the Sims family to save her life. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Sims, and Mr. & Mrs. Pugh for saving Bella and giving her a new beginning, despite her age!
